Richard D. Gross

Richard D. Gross, 74, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on November 23, 1951, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Grace (Smith) Gross.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, John, Paul, and Butch Gross.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Gross and fiancé Scott Deavor, of Burnham.

In his earlier years, Richard worked as a mason construction worker, contributing his skill and craftsmanship to many buildings that still stand today. He was proud of the work he did and the lasting mark he left on the community.

He loved playing guitar and spent time performing in several bands over the years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and found joy in woodworking, creating one‑of‑a‑kind projects that reflected his creativity and hands-on spirit.

He was a loving father, brother, and friend to all who knew him.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.
