Obituary

Robert Lee Hagans Sr., 70, of McAlisterville, passed away at 9:03 p.m., Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, at his home.

Born Jan. 30, 1953, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Joseph and Ethel M. (Reed) Hagans.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Hagans, and a sister, Betty Minter.

Robert is survived by: children, Robert Lee Hagans Jr., of Lewistown, Tracy Hagans and companion, Cathi Robosky, of Westmoreland, and Ethel Marie Dupert and companion, Michael Ney, of Williamstown; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beulah Haney, of Lewistown.

Prior to retiring, he was employed by Steele’s Rental.

Robert loved Harley motorcycles, cooking, and trying his luck at the casinos.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
