Robert D. Narehood, Sr.

Robert D. Narehood, Sr., 77, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born September 29, 1944, in Reedsville, he was a son of the late Warrior D. and Margaret (Dalzell) Narehood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; an infant brother; and siblings, Ronald Narehood, S. Ward Narehood, Evelyn Michalchik, Margaret Wilson, and Elizabeth Betty Carson.

He is survived by; wife, Sandra K. (Smith) Narehood, whom he married April 11, 1980; children, Cara Wagner and husband, Jim, of Lewistown, Robert D. Narehood Jr. and wife, Ashley, of Mill Hall, Todd Gisewhite and wife, Tammy, of Fl., and Krista Price and husband, Galen, of McVeytown; grandchildren, Brandi Wagner, Maura Wagner, Olivia Wagner, Rheagan Narehood, Logan Price and wife, Myachia, Cameron Price and wife, Mickenzy, Tanner Wheeler, Lauren Gisewhite, and Sarah Faison; great-grandchildren, Cohan Grove, Owen Sheaffer, Kaiden Kline, Benjamin Price, and Brier Price; and a sister, Linda Snook and husband, Gary, of Lewistown.

Robert was a member of Barrville Mennonite Church.

He was a Kishacoquillas High School graduate, Class of 1962.

Robert worked for Frank Guerrini Vending services.

He loved being outdoors, lending a helping hand, reading the Bible, and studying the scriptures.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Birch Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Carl Geissinger officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
