Robert C. Packer

Robert C. Packer, 60, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, after a long battle of heart disease.

Born July 27, 1962, in Batavia, New York, he was a son of the late Chester Packer Sr., and Suzann (Vandorn) Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Roxanne Hess.

He is survived by; his wife, Emily S. (Sowers) Packer, whom he married on July 5, 1983; two children, Jeremy Packer, of New Cumberland, and Lakeisha Packer, of Mechanicsburg; siblings, Peggy Stevens and husband, John, Carol Morgan and husband, Terry, both of Batovia, N.Y., Chester Packer Jr. and wife, Carol Wright, Earl Packer, all of Lewistown; sisters-in-law, Cathy Imler, of Lewistown, and Joyce Mullins and husband, Dustin, of TX; and a  brother-in-law, Richard Collins, of Lewistown.

Robert worked at Empire Kosher, where he retired.

He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry, going camping, cooking, and automotive work.

A receiving of friends and family will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the Chief Logan Fire House, 1800 Glenwood Ave, Lewistown, PA 17044.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
