Ronald W. Casner Obituary

Ronald W. Casner, 84, of McClure, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home.


Born in Mifflin, he was the son of the late Robert and Elsie (Wentz) Casner.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Casner; three grandchildren, Jared, Kyle, and Rebecka; siblings, Jean Stoner, Samuel (Bobby) Casner.


He is survived by his wife, Sara (Yetter) Casner, whom he married October16, 1964; daughter, Tina Dunmire and husband, Ralph, of McClure; grandson, Alex Casner, of McClure; and sister, Earlene Brady, of Linglestown.


He worked at the American Viscose for 43 years


Ronald loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State. He enjoyed going hunting and watching Gunsmoke.


Per his wishes, no services will be held.
