Ronald R. Drass

Ronald R. Drass, 87, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at his home.

Born August 31, 1936, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Norman R. and Catherine I. (McCardle) Drass.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. (Zettles) Drass; siblings, Shirley Yearick, Marie Marker, Doris Jean Wray, Richard, George, and Leonard Drass.

Ronald is survived by his brother, Dennis W. Drass and wife, Patricia A., of Lewistown.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Ronald was a United States Marine Corp veteran who fought in the Korean Conflict.

He was self-employed as a painter. He loved singing in church, and loved the Juniata River and going fishing.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m., with Reverend Karen McCachren officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 200 E 3rd St, Lewistown, PA 17044.
