Ruby Marie Monier, 79, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:16 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born Feb. 21, 1945, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Sr. and Margaret (Lyter) Goss.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Candace Messenger.

Ruby is survived by sons, Dwayne Rhodes, of Lewistown, and Steve Harshbarger, and siblings, Glenda Miller and Rosie Parson, both of Lewistown, Glenn Goss Jr. and wife, Mary, of Newton Hamilton, and Gregory Goss and wife, Ruth, of Valparaiso, Ind.

She was a graduate of Lewistown High School.

Ruby was a waitress for many years at Green Gables and Tony’s Cottage Inn.

She loved her beautiful birds and shopping at thrift stores.

Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
