Ruth A. Deckman, 46, of Lewistown, died Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born August 15, 1979, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Wayne Stevens and Rose Deckman who survives.
She is survived by her siblings, Amanda, Terry and Brenda Deckman of Lewistown.
Ruth was employed as a stock associate at Wal-Mart, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
She was passionate about reading. Ruth also enjoyed taking walks around her neighborhood, finding relaxation and joy outdoors. She had a knack for solving crossword puzzles and found comfort and creativity in coloring, using it to unwind and express herself.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
