Ruth Margaret Liddick, 77, of Lewistown, passed away on August 13, 2024, at her home.

Born on October 16, 1946, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late William Kritser and Helen Parson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Liddick; and siblings, Richard Kritser, Eugene Kritser, Suzie Farleman.

Ruth is survived by her children, Marietta Newman, of Texas, Eric ‘Bud’ Fisher and wife, Sharon, of Reedsville, and Sabrina Kitting and husband, Michael, of Lewistown; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Maietta Frankhouser, of Barrville, Janet Logan, of Texas, Margaret Graybill and husband, Mage, of Thompsontown.

She worked as a nurse’s aide at William Penn nursing home, where she later retired.

Ruth loved her cat Zoey, reading books, and playing bingo.

A receiving of friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.

A private interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
