Sara M. (Richie) Boreman

Sara M. Boreman, 70, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:10 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.   

Born Jan. 30, 1950, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Singley) Richie.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Boreman. 

Sara is survived by: daughters, Cheryl Semere, of Ga., Tina Nace and companion, Jack Miller, of McClure, and Carrie Marker and husband, Robert, of Fla.; grandchildren, Kendall Nace, Natalie Marker, and Serena Semere Hamrick; and great-grandson, Remington Stewart.

Sara graduated from Central Dauphin East High School, Class of 1967.  She also attended college for several years. 

She retired from Lewistown Hospital’s Housekeeping Department.   

Sara loved her grandchildren and her pets.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at Mount Rock Cemetery, Oakland Avenue, Lewistown, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.  

Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Burnham, is in charge of arrangements.
