Shannon Lea Lower

Shannon Lea Lower, 49, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on September 25, 1976, in Lewistown, Shannon was the daughter of Brenda Kay (Griffith) Lower, who preceded her in death, and Donald ‘Donnie’ Lower, who survives her.

She was a 1995 graduate of Lewistown High School, an attended Williamsport Community College.

Shannon worked as a pharmacy technician at Weis pharmacy.

She was a very kind and compassionate person who will be dearly missed by her dad, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was an animal lover, especially kitties that held a special place in her heart.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2025, at Mount Rock Cemetery, with Reverend Bernard Carpenter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shannon’s memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
