Sharon K. “Peanut” Haffly, 77, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at her home.
Born July 10, 1944, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late James Dale and Alice (Hopkins) Stine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald E. Haffly; granddaughter, Evelyn Jean Wells; and siblings, William Stine, Cindy Hupp and Dennis Stine.
Sharon is survived by: children, Lori Wells-Green and husband, Theodore, of Mount Airy, Md., John “Shorty” Wells, of Lewistown, Clifford Wells and wife, Michelle, of Milroy, and K. Daniel Wells and wife, Ruth, of Newport; six grandchildren, Landon and T.J. Wells-Green, Travis Wells and Angel Weiant, and Victoria and Joseph Wells; and siblings, Harry Stine, of Spokane, Wash., Irma Fryer, of Lewistown, Thomas Stine, of Lewistown, Samuel Stine and wife, Vicki, of Mifflin, Penny Stine, of Milroy, and Wanda Stine, of Phoenix, Ariz.
Sharon was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lewistown.
She was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1962.
Sharon was employed in housekeeping at the Burnham Holiday Inn.
She loved animals and enjoyed making crafts.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Lewistown Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1020 West Fifth Street, with Pastor Robert Snyder officiating.
