Sharon Irene Hughes, 77, of Reedsville, passed away at 11 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 11, 1946, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Harry “Bill” and Mable (Heath) Fultz.
Sharon is survived by: son, Aaron Hughes and fiancé, Betty Dillman, of Lewistown; grandsons, Ray Hughes and fiancé, Crystal Bulick, and Alex Hughes and wife, Bridget; great-grandchildren, Myles and Carolina Hughes; and a brother, Bill Fultz and wife, Pauline, of Hummelstown.
Sharon was a graduate of Kishacoquillas High School, Class of 1964. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Shippensburg University in 1968 and then went on to receive her Master’s degree.
She was employed as a teacher by the Mifflin County School District, where she retired.
Sharon enjoyed reading, bird watching, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Per her request, there will be no services.

Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
