Sheila M. Hoffman, 82, of McClure, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her home.
Born on March 29, 1941, in Middleburg, she was a daughter of the late John Dunkleberger.
In addition to her father, she was preceded by, her husband, Carl E. Hoffman; loving aunt and uncle, Lura Courtney and Stanley, who raised her.
She is survived by; daughters, Laurie Aurand and husband, Marc, of McVeytown, Paula Hoffman, of Lewistown, and Annette Shreve and husband, Tom, of Tunkhannock; grandchildren, Marra Baker and husband, Jordan, of Reedsville, Marissa Boozel and husband, Jake, of Cassville, Hannah, Harley, and Hadlee Shreve, of Tunkhannock; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Baker and Zane Boozel; siblings, Huston, Craig, and Dwight Courtney, and Alan Dunkleberger.
Sheila was a graduate of Middleburg High School, Class of 1959.
Earlier in life, she was a member of Samuels United Church of Christ, and later she attended Lawvers United Methodist Church in McClure.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting items for her grandchildren and was a sports fanatic.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kathy Mercado officiating.
Interment will be held at Samuels Church Cemetery.
