Shirley A. (White) Henry

Shirley A. Henry, 84, of Lewistown, passed away at 5:03 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at Greenwood Village, Lewistown.

Born April 4, 1939, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Reba (Martin) White.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Richard R. Henry; son, Bryan K. Henry; infant son, Richie; great-grandson, Joseph Brehman; and her brother, Albert White.

Shirley is survived by:  daughter, Kathy Brehman and husband, Marty, of Lewistown; four grandchildren, Jody Brehman, Heather Willow and husband, Brad, Travis Brehman, and Kelsey Henry; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Allysa, Wyatt, Allison, Peyton, Ariadne, Archer; and a great-great-granddaughter, Josie.

Shirley was a participant in the Pennsylvania Department of Aging Domiciliary Care (Dom Care) Program for many years.  She opened her home and provided loving support, encouragement and supervision to Keith and Robert, who she cared for as her own sons.  In later years, she enjoyed being a homemaker.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with interment to take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery in Lewistown.
