Shirley M. ‘Shirl’ Miller, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on February 1, 1950, in Lewistown, Shirley was the beloved daughter of the late David and Bessie (Harshbarger) Ronk. She was preceded in death by her siblings Leonard Ronk and Donna Shirk, as well as her daughter-in-law Emily Zook.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Lee Miller; children, David Zook, of Indiana, PA, Eric and Mandy Zook, of Lewistown, Travis Miller and wife, Nicole, of Conn.; grandchildren, Kaylah Hoxha and husband, Geri, Taylor Zook, Lincoln Zook, Kinley Zook, Cecelia Zook, and Fallon Miller; siblings, Linda Ronk, of Lewistown, Ronald Ronk and wife, Connie, of Lewistown; brother-in-law, Keith Miller and husband, George Willias.

She attended Calvary Bible Church, where her faith was an important part of her life.

Shirley was a 1968 graduate of Mount Union High School. Earlier in life, she devoted 20 years to working at Goss’s Candy. More recently, she served as a receptionist at Lerch RV.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a receiving of friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, located at 108 First Ave., Burnham. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m., officiated by Reverend Bob Marsh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley’s memory to American Heart Association or Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, 21 S. Main St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
