Steven I. Stewart

Steven I. Stewart, 65, of Lewistown, entered into heaven on Saturday, December 23, 2023, where he is now whole and endures no more suffering.

Born June 14, 1958, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Roy I. and Betty L. (Harshbarger) Stewart.

He is survived by his siblings, Roy I. Stewart II and wife, Cindy, Dennis B. Stewart, Rose M. Stewart, Terry L. Stewart and companion, Deb Wertz; nieces and nephews, Sean Stewart, Christopher Stewart. Erica Crotty and husband, Kyle, Erin Cavanaugh, Gage Smith and wife, Anya; great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason Stewart, Makayla and Sophie Crotty, Zachary and Tyler Goss, Brayden  and Brynleigh Cavanaugh, Deckard Smith and Harvey Smith; uncles, Harold Stewart, Warren Stewart and wife, Jeanne, and Kenneth Stewart; loved like family, Josh Yoder and wife, Salina, Omar Yoder and wife, Barbara, Jemima Rosie and Becky Lou Yoder, Amos Yoder and wife, Nancy, and Salina Rose, Rudy Yoder and wife, Hannah; and many loving cousins.

Earlier in life, Steven attended Lewistown Assembly of God Church.

He enjoyed the simple things in life; watching trains and being with family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Buck Carolus officiating.

Interment will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery.
