Susan Jane Liveringhouse

Susan Jane Liveringhouse, 65, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at Brookline Manor in Mifflintown.

Born May 25, 1959, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Donald E. and Mary Jane (Buck) Liveringhouse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Berrier.

She is survived by; siblings, Donna Bryner, of Port Royal, Linda Wilson and husband, Bob, of Reedsville, Karen Bubb, of Lewistown; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was a Methodist by faith.

Susan was a 1977 graduate of Lewistown Area High School.

After graduation she embarked on a diverse and fulfilling career path. Her professional life included service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, followed by roles at Scotty’s Fashions, and lastly at Zampelli Electronics where not only was she an employee, she established a very strong bond with the Zampelli family. After she retired, she was employed at Lewistown Hospital as a care companion.

Susan cherished the simple joys of life. Family gatherings brought immense happiness, a love for travel& adventures particularly trips to the beach early in life, and the many family camping trips to Cowans Gap State Park over the years. She has a special in place in her heart for her feline friends.

A receiving of friends will be held 2 to 4 p.m., on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, located at 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
