Susan Y. Wilson-Bell, 62, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital

Born July 12, 1958, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Richard C. Wilson and Yvonne M. (Bodtorf) Wilson, who survives.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by; her husband, Austin C. “Buddy” Bell Jr., who passed in 2017.

She is survived by; companion, Dale K. Casner, of Lewistown; siblings, Richard B. Wilson and wife, Melanie, of Harrisburg, Kelly L. Wilson and wife, Denette, of Yeagertown, and Lori A. Bitner and husband, Gregg, of Milroy; two nephews; two nieces; and one great-niece.

Susan was a 1976 graduate of Chief Logan High School where she was a majorette in the marching band.

Earlier in life she worked at Fisher Electronics and GE Inspection Technologies. Her last place of employment was with Fox Pro.

In her earlier years, she enjoyed going for car rides and listening to music with her sister on the weekends. Susan was her sister’s best friend. Susan and her mother became best friends until her mother’s illness. And later in life, Susan and Dale would enjoy listening to music on the porch and going for mountain rides together. She enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers. She was a very kindhearted person, a good sister, and will be sadly missed.

A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date.
