Tammy Valentine Tassa

Tammy Valentine Tassa, 55, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.    

Born May 10, 1966, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Paul Tassa Jr., of Lewistown, who survives, and the late Linda K. (McMinn) Tassa.   

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Maben.

In addition to her father, Tammy is survived by: companion, Chris Zechman, of Lewistown; children, Lucinda Geiswite and husband, Steve, of Lewistown, and Jordan Groce and wife, Amanda, of Girardville; twelve grandchildren; and brothers, Paul Tassa III, of Lewistown, and Andrew Maben and wife, Karen, of N.Y.

She was a graduate of Lewistown High School. 

Tammy was a homemaker and caretaker.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown.

A graveside service will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 US Highway 522 South, Lewistown, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
