Thomas Richard Hartman

Thomas Richard Hartman, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.

Born June 1, 1947, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William “Bud” L. Hartman Jr. and Donnis E. (Cubbison) Hartman, who survives.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: wife, Carol M. (Blewett) Hartman, whom he married in August of 1997; daughter, Jodi Crosson and fiancé Lloyd Shawver, of Spring Mills; grandchildren, Jasmine Spangler and Alex, of Yeagertown; sister, Cindy Brehman and husband, Barry, of Lewistown; niece, Nicole Baumgardner and husband, Mike, of Burnham; nephew, Chad Brehman and wife, Amanda; great-nieces, Alexis, Morgan, Gracen, and Bristol; great-nephew, Braxton; great-great-niece, Tenley.

He was a graduate of Chief Logan High school, Class of 1965.

Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1969. He was a sergeant who served with the 416 Security Police Squadron.

He worked in Machine Shop I at Standard Steel and retired after 42 years of service.

Thomas was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing and going to camp with family and friends.

Private interment will be held at Mount Rock Cemetery at the convenience of the family, with special services provided by VFW Post 7011.
