Thomas R. Stine Sr., 74, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Greenwood Village.

Born April 8, 1950, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harry L. and Alice (Hopkins) Stine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; and siblings, Sharon ‘Peanut’ Haffly, William ‘Marty’ Stine, Cindy Hupp, Dennis Stine; Dorothy Mae Stine.

He is survived by; children, Thomas R. Stine Jr., of Lewistown, Wanda ‘Sue’ Grose, Lewistown, Thomas ‘Mike’ Gaff, of Smithfield, Nathan Hetrick and wife, Brandi, of Yeagertown, and Shannon Hetrick and companion, Ryan McCardle, of Yeagertown; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kenneth Stine, of WA., Irma Fryer, of Milroy, Samuel Stine and wife, Vicki, of Mifflin, Penny Stine, of Milroy, Wanda Stine, of Phoenix, AZ.; a number of nieces and nephews.

Thomas attended Seventh-day Adventist Church, and he attended Kish High School.

He enjoyed art; building and collecting many models of antique cars, trucks. He loved being outdoors going hunting, fishing and going on nature walks. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1020 W. 5th St., Lewistown, with Pastor Jack LaCamera officiating.

Interment will take place at Maitland Church of the Brethren cemetery.
