Thomas G. Swisher

Thomas G. Swisher, 74, of Reedsville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Born May 1, 1946, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late George L. and Mary K. (Havice) Swisher.

He is survived by: wife, Linda (Kochenderfer) Swisher, whom he married April 15, 1972; and a son, Kevin M. Swisher, of Burnham.

Tom was a 1964 graduate of Chief Logan High School and attended Penn State University.

Earlier in life, he worked at The Viscose, then was an owner of Video Etc. and later he retired from Trinity Plastics.

There were always plenty of books in his house because he was a passionate bibliophile. He loved all genres of music and was an avid beer aficionado. He enjoyed watching sports, especially Penn State and was a huge LA Dodgers fan.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2020, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m., with Rev. Robert Zorn officiating.

Please wear a facemask and observe social distancing guidelines for both the viewing and the funeral services.

Interment will be private and take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
