Timothy W. Hunter, 65, of McClure, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, in State College.
Born May 28, 1959, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late, Joseph A. Hunter, and Connie D. (Bowersox) Hunter, who survives.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Jason Specht.
He is survived by his wife, Karen M. (Goss) Hunter; children, Heidi McKnight, of Burnham, Craig Hunter and wife, Vanessa, of Port Royal, Tyler Hunter and wife, Brittany, of McClure, Eric Specht and wife, Sheila, of Lewistown, Corey Specht and fiancé, Lauren Stephenson, of MD; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Debora Nester and husband, Donny, of VA, Andrew Hunter and wife, Ruth, of McAlisterville.
He attended Wagner U.M. Church in McClure.
Tim was a 1977 graduate of Chief Logan High School.
He worked as a finisher at Lewistown Cabinets, in Milroy.
Tim enjoyed watching Nascar. He was a devoted husband and father. He loved his dog Gunner, playing cards with his family, woodworking, and being outside gardening and taking care of his fish pond.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service at 12 p.m., with Reverend Steven Swigart officiating.
Interment will take place at Wagner cemetery.
