Torrey B. Carpenter

 Torrey B. Carpenter, 39, of Yeagertown, departed this world on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his home.

Born June 22, 1982, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Pete Carpenter and Tina Knepp, of Yeagertown, who survives.     

In addition to his mother, Torrey is survived by his sister, Tessa Carpenter, of Yeagertown, niece, Lydia Carpenter and nephew Rhys Carpenter, both whom he loved dearly.

He was a graduate of Indian Valley High School, Class of 2000.

He was employed as a laborer at Overhead Door.

Torrey was a talented musician and loved music his entire life. Beyond writing songs on his guitar, he played the drums, spectacularly, in the band Etcetera. He could often be heard singing songs about his beloved dog, Laylee, to her. Torrey was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and proud member of "Steeler Nation".  He was a kind soul with a big heart and will be sadly missed by his friends, family and most of all his loyal Laylee.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at New Life Church, 101 North Beech Street, Burnham, with Reverend John Walters officiating.
