Travis Wade Yetter, 40, of Burnham, passed away at 9:33 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Aug. 31, 1984, in Lewistown, he was the son of Marty S. and Monica S. (Dobson) Yetter, who survive.
Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jon A. Dobson Sr., and paternal grandparents, Jack T. and Phyllis G. Yetter.
In addition to his parents, Travis is survived by: maternal grandmother, Nancy J. Dobson, of Lewistown; sister, Lacey Yetter and companion, Curtis Stewart, of Lewistown; nephew and niece, Layne and Marcy Stewart; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Travis was a Mifflin County Christian Academy graduate, Class of 2003. He also attended Penn State – Altoona Campus for a year.
He was most recently employed by Jarden Plastics in Milroy as a parts inspector in the Quality Assurance Department.
Travis loved sports. From a very young age, he absorbed sports information and statistical data like a sponge. By the time he reached adulthood, Travis had acquired a vast knowledge of sports from every genre. He enjoyed lively banter as well as in-depth sports conversations with anyone who would listen. Travis was especially passionate about his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Phillies, Penn State, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Per his family’s wishes, a celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
