Velma Z. Fultz, 90, of Burnham, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born April 24, 1934, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Colyer M. and Myrtle P. (Snyder) Solt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William ‘Dick’ R. Fultz; baby daughter Velma, son Timothy Fultz; siblings, Lloyd, Cloyd, Ray, Jack, and James Solt, Laura Kuhns, Joan Sherman, and Mertie Forsythe.
She is survived by children Kevin Fultz and wife, Cynthia, of McClure, Doug Fultz and wife, Tammy, of Yeagertown, Melanie Harshbarger and husband, Delmer Jr., of McVeytown, Tonia Snook and husband, Shawn, of McClure; brother, Glen Solt; grandchildren, Amanda Burns and husband, Colin, Jason Fultz and wife, Jessica, Bradley Corbin and wife, Latoya, Amanda Parker and husband, Brent, Courtney Specht and husband, Travis, Garrett Snook and wife, Brittany, Ben Fultz and wife, Hannah, Brooke Harshbarger, Lucas Harshbarger and fiancé, Jenna Kirk; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cadence, Jaxon, Adison, Nolan, Aleeha, Kaylyn, GariAnne, Ivy, Allix, Bryce, Maverick, and Henry.
Velma was a member of Wagner UMC and a prior member of Freedom Ave. UMC.
She was a 1953 graduate of Burnham High School.
She worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier where she retired.
Velma was known for her strong faith and unwavering commitment to helping others. She loved life and her family. She enjoyed going to play bingo.
A private graveside will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Joshua Randolph officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 1st Ave., Burnham.
