William R. Wagner Obituary

William R. Wagner, 101, of McVeytown, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.


Born March 21, 1922, in McClure, he was the son of the late Luther and Florance Wagner.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Pusa.


He is survived by; a companion, Anna M. Gillam, of McVeytown; a son, William W. Wagner, of West Spring Field; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Roy Wagner, Earl Wagner and Chet Wagner.


William served in the United States Army and he fought in WWII.


In his earlier years, he worked at the American Viscose where he retired.


He enjoyed taking care of his vegetable garden.
