Yvonne C. Folk

Yvonne C. Folk, 90, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

Born July 27, 1934, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Marietta (Hilliard) Webster.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Folk Sr., who passed in January 1999; son, Benjamin F. Folk Jr., who passed in 2020; grandson, Michael Anthony Folk; great-grandson, Anthony M. Snook.

She is survived by her children, Connie Folk, Kathy Bowersox and husband, Bret, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Amy Jo Folk, Christopher Folk, Rebekah Bowersox, Tagen Folk; great-granddaughter,  Kyla Folk; great-great-grandchildren, Michael Snook, Brooklyn Hook, Emersyn Folk; daughter-in-law, Carrie Folk, of Lewistown; and a loving friend, William Wagner, of Erie.

Yvonne was a senior soldier and lifelong member of Salvation Army church in Lewistown.

She was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1952. She later attended Mifflin County Vo-Tech LPN program.

A viewing will be held from 11 am to 12 pm, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 12 pm, with Majors Fred and Janet Clark officiating.

Interment will be held at Juniata Memorial Park.
