Sonia E. Renninger, 64, of McClure died at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born March 8, 1952 in Lewistown she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and M. Jean (Wagner) Haines.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two siblings, Dallas Ewing and Sandra Moore.
She is survived by: her husband, Darvin G. Renninger, who she married December 24, 1967; her children, Jason Renninger and wife, Jennifer, of McClure, Joshua Renninger and wife, Charity, of Beaver Springs, Amanda Shawver and husband, Robert, of McClure and Ardra Lukens and husband, Daniel, of McClure; and 10 grandchildren, Jada, Darren, Madison, Levi, Danika, Isaac, Udele, Zared, Hannah and Wyatt.
Sonia was a 1970 graduate of West Snyder High School.
She was a LPN. Sonia had worked as an EMT, Beaver Springs Ambulance, 20 plus years for McClure Quick Response Service Team and had served as a captain.
Sonia had attended Bannerville Church of the Brethren. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and was very proud of her EMT service.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at Bannerville Church of the Brethren, 7502 Stage Road, McClure with Pastor Christopher HeinLein officiating.
