I met Debi when she worked at Bamberger's in NJ many years ago. I guess you could say I was her "assistant." We have been friends for over 30 years. I have so many fond memories of Debi, especially the many long drives. She loved driving. We would drive for hours and hours....stop along the way, shop and eat. Many times no specific destination.......just drive. I also have many beautiful afghans. She loved making them and giving them to people...so much love went into each and everyone of them. I think every member of my family has one.

She was a true and dear friend. You will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. We spent many times together at the train station with many good conversations. I often think of her Courious George and how she loved him. She explained that she knew some people thought her crazy but George was her best friend. He never took advantage of her or hurt her as people had. I hope someone is taking care of George for her now. Debbie was a great person and I was so blessed to have known her.
